Water Tank Maintenance

The City of Hondo will be completing annual water tank maintenance at the Downtown well site (905 20th Street / between 20th and 21st Streets, Ave J to Ave I)
January 15: Maintenance crews will be pressure washing the Downtown elevated tank to inspect the exterior paint coating.
January 22–23: Maintenance crews and City staff will work on the tank to facilitate an interior washout. This work may result in some water being present on the roadway near 20th Street while the maintenance is being completed.
