May 2, 2020 General Election and Special Election (Charter Amendments)

The next General Election will be on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Medina County Elections Department, 1202 14th Street, Hondo, Texas, 78861. Filing for a place on ballot is set by state statute and will run from January 15 through February 14, 2020. Find additional election-related dates and information at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/candidates/index.shtml   (posted in accordance with Texas Legislature House Bill 305, effective 1, 2019)

Filing requirement are per state statue, available https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/candidates/guide/local.shtml.

On May 2, 2020, a general election will be held to elect Council Members for Place 3 and Place 4.

Filings for candidates will be accepted from January 15, 2020 through February 14, 2020 during regular hours, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
