The Hondo Golf Course is in the heart of God's Country and offers a fun and family oriented environment. With 9 holes and continued improvements, the golf course remains as one of the City's valuable forms of entertainment. Staff takes great pride by offering golf lessons, hosting numerous golf tournaments and washer pitching tournaments. Staff is committed to providing the best golfing experience for everyone.
Golf season is right around the corner. Starting in March we will have tournaments every month. Some very fun tournaments are the Rotary Club, the Lions Club and of course the Scott Muennink Memorial Throwdown. Some are traditional and some are a little on the wild side including toilets, frisbees, slingshots, and live music.
Supervisor Jerry Busby was named Supervisor of the Year 2015 and 2018 because of his continued dedication to the City of Hondo's Golf Course making it God's Country Club. Jerry and his staff welcome everyone to enjoy the range.
