Candidate packets are available at City Hall, 1600 Avenue M, Hondo, Texas 78861 between 8 am to 5 pm during January 18, 2023 through February 17, 2023. Packets are to be submitted to the City Secretary. Candidate packets are also accessible via website.

Important Dates for May 06, 2023 General Election
- First day to apply is January 18, 2023
- City Hall is closed January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Holiday
- Last day to apply is February 17, 2023
- Last day to withdraw name from ballot must be received by 5 pm on February 24, 2023.
- Election Day is Saturday, May 6, 2023 7 am to 7 pm.
